About Tilli Woloshin MFT
Hi, I’m Tilli.
I believe that the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.
I set out a goal to improve the quality of my life and also to help others do the same, therefore I got my masters in MFT and started a life long journey of understanding human relationships and behaviors.
My specialty is working with couples and I am trained in an attachment-based couples therapy model called EFT (Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy).
I completed my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at IONA College’s COAMFTE-accredited MFT Program. I am on the licensure track to become a fully licensed Marriage and Family Therapist under the supervision of Barbara Bennett, LMFT.
I successfully completed Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Externship and also EFT Core Skills Training. I am also trained in Solution Focused, Strategic and Structural Therapy and utilize Interpersonal Neurobiology and Internal Family Systems Model.
I have experience in providing systemic driven integrated mental health counseling to individuals, couples and families with a variety of needs including family conflicts, relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, compulsive behaviors and substance abuse.
Self-reflection in regards to how we connect with others and ourselves is the first step to creating better relationships and a balanced life.
Before my work in the relational psychology field, I worked in the financial industry, living in different countries and working with people from all sorts of cultural backgrounds.
I enjoy working with individuals and couples with multicultural backgrounds, clients who experience the strain of living and working in a place other than their homeland, individuals who work in high-pressure jobs, and those who go through major life transitions, challenges and changes.
